Sitting within 100 meters of the Byron Bay beach, this two level dwelling has it all. Double garage, 4 bedrooms, 2 with ensuites, two living areas over an impressive two levels.
The house took 26 weeks to construct in the facility with a further 6 weeks on site. The prolonged period of works on site where due to the briefing requirements of a large amount of decking, a garage and other external structures that were bespoke and constructed on site.

The entry to the house is within a stair void where the user is confronted by floating timber stair treads that wrap around a woven steel mesh blade wall. An introduction to the high level of internal details that is prevalent throughout the house.
There is a void over the main living and dining area that soars upwards over 5 meters in height with a glazed northern facade. Orientated at the rear of the block towards the north, this expanse of glazing captures and traps the north sun.
The house is built over two levels in an 'L Shape' configuration with the main living area set to the rear with an east west orientation. This gives the glazed facade to the living area it's greatest orientation to the north.
Three of the four bedrooms are set on the upper floor, with the main bedroom set on the northern edge of the north south orientated bedroom wing. This affords the occupants best views over their toes to the sea beyond, allowing the surf to be assessed before grabbing one of the surfboards off the racks in the OSB lined garage and store area.
